About US

Meet Rachael and Robert Stein, the passionate and dedicated founders of the Spice Girls House—a safe haven designed to empower women as they rebuild their lives and embrace a brighter future. The story of the Spice Girls House is one
of resilience, growth, and the power of community.

Robert's journey began in 1999 at a transitional living home in California, where he found strength and guidance under the mentorship of Don Troutman at Clean and Sober Transitional Living in Fair Oaks, CA. With a commitment to fostering personal growth and community support, Robert dedicated over 11 years to programs focused on accountability and transformation. Since then, Robert has honed his business expertise as a Service Director in the automotive industry and now works full-time as a recruiter with Team RRS, LLC, a business he founded in 2021.

Rachael’s dedication to helping others has been a guiding force in her life. After years of researching, networking, and gaining insights into supportive
living environments in the Phoenix area, she developed a vision for creating a space where women could find strength, encouragement, and the tools to succeed. Her dream of opening a supportive living home grew stronger over the years, culminating in the creation of the Spice Girls House.

In February 2022, Robert and Rachael joined their lives in marriage, and together, they brought Rachael’s dream to life. Their shared passion and
commitment led them to purchase a home in Phoenix in July 2023, which they have lovingly remodeled to create a warm and supportive space for women. With a certified fourth bedroom and third bathroom, the Spice Girls House is now fully
compliant with the rigorous standards of the Arizona Recovery Housing Association (AzRHA) and the Arizona Department of Health Services (DHS). This dual certification makes the Spice Girls House one of only two women-only homes in the entire Phoenix area to meet such high standards of care and accountability.

The foundation of the Spice Girls House is strengthened by the presence of Robert’s sister, Meri Maes, who serves as the live-in House manager. Meri brings over seven years of experience in supportive housing environments and
valuable expertise from her role as a women’s House Manager at Clean and Sober Transitional Living. Her training ensures that the house operates smoothly, with a focus on accountability, support, and a strong sense of community.

The Spice Girls House reflects a commitment to excellence. Every aspect of this home—from the renovations to the carefully crafted Rules &
Expectations—meets the highest standards of compliance, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for the women who will call it home.

This is more than a house—it’s a place where lives are transformed, dreams are reignited, and community thrives. The Spice Girls House represents the culmination of shared experiences, unwavering determination, and a deep desire
to give back to the community.

Welcome to a new beginning. Welcome to the Spice Girls House.
